Blast that terrorist scum!

Bauer

That's what I find myself saying Monday nights. At least since the FOX show "24" started up again. I've been watching every week since the first episode of this season debuted and I'm hooked. This is the first season that I have seen of this series. All the computers, phones and all of Jack Bauer's equipment are supercool. This is one show that I look forward to every week which says a lot because I haven't had a t.v. series that I watched religiously for a while. I might go to Blockbuster one of these days and rent some old episodes from season three to get caught up.

I never thought about how difficult it must be to try and film a show that has to have each episode fit seamlessly with the previous one. I heard that the wardrobe and the makeup are particularly hard to keep straight. For those of you that aren't familiar with the show I recommend you watch it sometime. I think there are only three or four episodes left but every one has been entertaining and is definitely worth a look.

Getting season one on DVD is worth a watch. It's so much better watching as much as you can back to back. I hate cliff-hangers on tv and then the wait 'til next week. I heard season 2 and 3 aren't as tight as 1 & 4. I'm waiting for 4 to come out on DVD so I can Netflix it. I started watching it, but it was that darn waiting that got to me... I have no patience! :o)

i have been a religious 24 junkie since season 1. all the seasons have been kick-ass in their own right, but i do have a bias for seasons 1 and 2. 3 and 4 have felt the slightest bit forced only in comparison to the first two. i would start from the beginning of 1 and work your way forward. things that happened in season 3 definitely won't make sense unless you've seen the first seasons. so much of the underlying story is wrapped up in those initial 24 episodes.

I watch The Sopranos back to back on DVD. I can't watch that show any other way. With 24, it is tough because they love the cliffhangers. There are so many damn plot twists you can't tell what will happen in the next episode either. I love it.
