Giddy up! The journey has begun...

Journey? Where? You mean the band?
Okay, so i'm speaking metaphorically. And badly at that. Anyways I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time but never really had the comittment nor the motivation to do it. In short, my reason for beginning this is to share my ideas and perspectives and maybe, possibly, start some kind of discussion on various topics (e.g. current events, politics, culture and many others). I will try to post as many links to interesting and/or funny stories as possible along the way. So here goes nothing!
